David Norris

David Norris

David was born 21 November 1955 in the UK, coming to Australia when he was 3 years old. David grew up in the inner suburbs of Sydney.

David’s career began in Information Technology working in many roles from the technical to various management positions including Project Manager, Process Manager, Consultant, Information Systems Strategist to Group Information Systems Manager (CIO) for a major public sector organization. David has since worked as a senior manager and consultant in a major multinational company and in one of the big 4 banks as a consultant and business strategist.

David made the tree change from Sydney to the Central Coast in 2003 and started Active Assist to personally create a better balanced lifestyle and to bring what he has learnt to the business owners of the Central Coast.

David’s particular strengths are in General Management practices, relationships, business systems and personally aligned marketing. David has a particular interest in helping people find their own effective pattern for managing their business and their life successfully and in balance.

Alan Jones

Alan Jones

Alan was born 8 October 1947 in the UK, coming to Australia the following year. He finished his HSC in 1964 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1968.

Alan has lived for the past 15 years on the NSW Central Coast and has a son and daughter.

Alan brings over 30 years experience in a variety of senior financial management roles, bringing a wealth of experience to Active Assist. His latest position before joining Active Assist was as General Manager for a major import/export company.

Alan is keen to be able to use this knowledge and experience to work with Central Coast business owners to help them improve their businesses.
